AbstractAbstract
[en] This research thesis reports the study of the anodic protection of stainless steels (more particularly of the AISI 304) in a sulphuric environment: this couple is frequently met in the chemical industry. The influence of various factors has been studied. Some of these factors are related to the metal (surface micro-geometrical condition), to the environment (concentration of sulphuric acid, dissolved oxygen content, possible presence of chloride ion) with a constant temperature of 25 C, and to the geometry and distribution of electrodes
