AbstractAbstract
[en] Dose calibration represents as one of radioactivity measurement instrument and as supporter in nuclear medicine division. The activity of radioactive material 137Cs, 125I, 192Ir, 226Ra, 131I, 60Co, 99mTc, 57Co, 67Ga, 133Ba, 18F and 41Ar can be measured by arranging the calibration setting that used in the dose calibrator. In this research, the determination of calibration setting in capintec dose calibrator for 186 Re radiopharmaceutical has been done. At present, the application of 186 Re radiopharmaceutical in several hospital is still under development stage. This radiopharmaceutical is used for the therapy of the paliatif of bone cancer as alternative bone pain palliative agent. The Standardization 186Re has been done by measuring activity that used in the system of counting of HPGE spectrometer gamma detector. The result of solid activity sample measurement (point source) was 106676,35 ± 497.81) Bq / mg or 106676,35±0,47% Bq / mg. Some correction was taken such as correction of dead time, corrective of background, and correction of time decay. Result of calculation of activing of sample radiopharmaceuticals 186Re in form of melting in vial was 82110,92 kBq ( 2,22 mCi). This value is used to determine the calibration setting in dose calibrator capintec for 186Re. This research result is applicable to calibrate dose calibrators at hospital. (author)
