[en] This study was to analyze the global nuclear trends of 2011 and the status of GIF program which is international cooperation activities. Also we examine the domestic R and D state of future nuclear energy systems for developing core technology and commercialization of Gen-IV nuclear energy system. Analyze global nuclear trends of 2011 Golbal nuclear trends of 2011 among the GIF member countries were surveyed and the current status of SSC and PMB activities for SFR and VHTR was analyzed. Also, the current status of MWG such as eMWG, RSWG, and PRPP as well as the Pyro-processing technology development in Korea was examined. Support and international cooperation activities for GIF This study took part in the discussion among the GIF member countries for the conduction of the collaborative research and development, and in the international activities for establishing the foundation of international cooperation. As one of the members of the Policy Group, the Expert Group researchers of this study have participated in the deliberation the issues as collaborative agreement. Also, the presentation files and meeting informations for SSC and PMB meetings of SFR and VHTR as well as MWG meetings were collected and managed. The applicability of the developed methodologies for future nuclear energy system were reviewed
