[en] We study combined variations of the renormalization and matching scales in order to reliably estimate the perturbative error of the latest NNLL vNRQCD prediction for top-antitop threshold production at a future linear collider. We present results for the total cross section and for the experimentally more relevant case, when moderate cuts are imposed on the reconstructed top and antitop invariant masses.
