AbstractAbstract
[en] A new method using capillary zone electrophoresis was developed for the rapid quantification of two active components, rutin and quercetin in Flos Sophorae. The effects of various parameters, such as buffer concentration, pH value, applied voltage and beta-CD concentrations, were investigated. After a series of optimization, the separation of rutin and quercetin was achieved successfully within 7 min in the 20 mmol/L borax buffer (pH 9.2), 25kV and 1 mmol/L beta-CD. The linearity, the detection limits, reproducibility, and recovery were satisfactory. The newly developed method was successfully applied to analyze contents of rutin and quercetin in Flos Sophorae samples, which were collected from eleven areas of Dezhou. The analytical result of samples showed that contents of rutin and quercetin were different in different areas, so the analytical result of samples provides basic data for selection of picking location, picking time and development of traditional Chinese medicine.
