[en] The Fukushima accident became a main factor to include the requirement to develop strategies for handling a blackout (SBO) as a design extension condition. In Kozloduy NPP were conducted ‘stress tests’ and, on the basis of their analysis was developed a ‘Program to implement recommendations from the stress tests in nuclear facilities’ in the Kozloduy NPP. The Program includes measures for powering the systems important to safety using mobile diesel generators. Until 2013 there was one mobile diesel generator 6kV (GZ100) in the Kozloduy NPP, which was envisaged as an alternative source of power supply in case of blackout of 5,6EB failure of DG 5,6GV, 5,6GW, 5 6GX, 5,6GZ. In implementation of the program 2 new DG were delivered MPE 0,4kV - GZ105 GZ106 and type DTS450, with power: 389kW and 364kW
