AbstractAbstract
[en] Since the discovery of the Maoniuping REE deposit, the third largest REE deposit in the world, in Sichuan Province in 1986, a lot of research work has been done. However, metallogenic process and substance sources remain controversial. The authors chose both types of the essential ores (barite pegmatite ores and carbonatite pegmatite ores) to analyze their carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur isotopic components of metallogenic fluid. δ "1"3C_v_-_P_D_B ratios are -3.0 - -5.6‰, δ D_V_-_S_M_O_W ratios are -57 - -88‰, δ "1"8O_v_-_S_M_O_W ratios are 7.3-13.3‰, δ "3"4S_V_-_C_D_T ratios are 3.3-5.9‰. The data obtained suggest that large quantities of mantle fluids were involved in the metallogenic process of the Maoniuping REE deposit. (authors)
