AbstractAbstract
[en] Examined locality is distinct due to presence of positive thorium and gravity anomalies. Studied rock significantly resembles durbachites building the Trebic pluton. However, it differs from it in certain properties. The aim of the paper is to describe the rock body, to verify its petrophysical qualities and to conduct essential microscopic and geochemical characterization. According to the results the rock is determined to be granodiorite. It resembles durbachites with high content of naturally radioactive elements - K (6.6 %), Th (29.8 ppm), U (5.9 ppm). On contrary, it differs from them with fine grain, non-porphyric structure and with chemical composition. The positive thorium anomaly is caused by presence of Th-bearing mineral monazite. I discovered an enclave in granodiorite that can be characterized as pyroxene spinel-bearing gabro. Such enclave has not been described in TP yet. (authors)
