AbstractAbstract
[en] Calibration is the act of comparing the readings of the instrument to the reading of standard instrument or the act of irradiating that instrument in a radiation field that has been well-characterized through standard source. Calibration also means determining the amount of the calibration factor, N, under a set of controlled standard conditions. The aim of routine calibration is to check the calibration carried out by the manufacturer or to check whether the calibration factor is stable enough for use in a long time. There are two methods of calibration of Radiation Measuring Instrument (RMI), that is the method of substitution and methods of tip to tip/simultaneously. In this paper presented calibration of radiation measuring instrument with methods of tip to tip and review of the results of calibration Monitor Area/Medi-MS94 Smart -MS91 during the period 2009-2015. The result is quite good/stable with a Calibration Factor (N) is in the range of 1.02 to 1.13 with an uncertainty in the range of (5-8) %. Calibration Factor to be multiplied to the reading of RMI so the results were accurate and traceable. The Calibration Certificate issued by PTKMR is if RMI's Calibration Factor is in the range of 0.8 to 1.2. (author)
