[en] This paper provides a high level picture of the human resource situation now and in the next 10 years in the global nuclear industry, focusing specifically on the competent nuclear professionals that are required for the civil nuclear industry to function safely. It then moves on to describe some of the key observations and conclusions related to building and sustaining a competent nuclear workforce from the perspective of Thomas Thor Associates, a global nuclear recruitment business with experience working with the nuclear industry across more than 30 countries.
