[en] The possibility of high intensity hadron accelerator based on a vertical scaling FFAG with harmonic number jump acceleration, named “Harmonictron”, is proposed. The paper also gives a design example of the Harmonictron for accelerating protons from 50 MeV to 500 MeV, which could be used for generating various secondary particles such as pion, neutron, etc. (author)
