AbstractAbstract
[en] Aim of the project are with regards to the electrical stability optimized arrays of superconducting bands in liquid nitrogen, by means of which superconducting current limiters in a very compact way of construction for a hitherto not reached high-voltage level can be developed and constructed. For that the discharge and breakdown process of inhomogeneous electrode arrays in liquid nitrogen shall be studied and general dimensioning rules in dependence on the applied materials and pressures of the liquid nitrogen be found. For this the application of innovative solutions like semiconducting polymers and hitherto not in nitrogen applied insulators shall be studied.
