AbstractAbstract
[en] The Center for Radioactive Waste Technology of the National Nuclear Energy Agency (CRWT-BATAN) receives radioactive waste from all over Indonesia. One of the radioactive wastes was received from industries and hospital in the form of Disused Sealed Radioactive Sources (DSRS). At present, there are many types of surveimeter available at CRWT-BATAN. In addition, the application of the calculation of the dose rate is also developing very many kinds, one of which is the Rad Pro Calculator. For this reason, a comparative study of dose rate measurements in used DSRS point sources with several different types and kinds of surveillance is also compared to Rad Pro Calculator with theoretical calculation of dose rate approximation. The results of comparative studies of direct measurements and the results of calculations in theory are not in a large ranges. Direct measurement of Radiagem surveimeter compared with theoretical calculations has a different ranges (1.2 % - 4 %), meaning that the measurement results are very close to the theory. But it is different from Radiameter and surveimeter with different ranges (0.51-12 %). It is assumed that the detector type and the geometry factor of the detector in the survey are the main factors that differ from the theory. Rad Pro Calculator application calculation has a different range (0.57 % -15 %) with theoretical results. (author)
