AbstractAbstract
[en] In present paper, we have investigated Bianchi type-III cosmological model in modified theory of gravity as proposed by Harko et al. (Phys. Rev. D 84:024020, 2011). To find the solution of field equations, we have used i) bilinear varying deceleration parameter (BVDP) (Mishra et al. in Astrophys. Space Sci. 361:259, 2016b) ii) the fact that expansion scalar of the space-time is proportional to the one of the components of the shear scalar. Physical and geometrical properties of the model have also been discussed along with the pictorial representation of various parameters. We have observed that presented model is compatible with the recent cosmological observations.
