AbstractAbstract
[en] Full text: Currently it is proven the power of inducing angiogenesis and tissue neoformation through membranes of natural rubber Hevea brasiliensis [1], so this paper presents a study on the properties and characterization of non-isoprene fractions, separated by centrifugation, the latex used as biomaterial for induction and neoformation of angiogenesis and lyophilized without the traditional stabilizing agent, ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) [2]. The fractions constituents, F2 and F3 fractions were lyophilized to reduce the amount of water and stabilization, and then heat treated at temperature of 40, 60, 80, 100, 120 and 140 deg C being characterized by the techniques of spectroscopy infrared (FT-IR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry (TG) coupled to FT-IR, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and serum cytokines considering the limiting factor in the use of latex as a bioactive material, which is the thermal treatment temperature, held for obtaining membranes of natural rubber, about 85 deg C. The F2 fraction showed a proinflammatory behavior in the midst of macrophages. The sample dilution with 1000 mg / mL had lower concentrations of cytokines for pro-inflammatory interleukins 1 and 6, but the tumor growth factor α (TNF-α) concentration of cytokines were always higher. F3 fraction showed an anti-inflammatory behavior reducing concentrations of cytokines for the presence of different dilutions. This means that this fraction does not stimulate and / or inhibit the initiation of the inflammatory process, especially in the dilution of 100 mg / mL. It was also observed that at high concentrations of fraction F3 synthesis of anti-inflammatory cytokines becomes very low, showing that there is probably a borderline dose to act on the immune system.
