AbstractAbstract
[en] Full text: Ultrastable metallic glass (SMG) thin films of magnesium based biocompatible alloys are produced via physical vapour deposition (PVD) techniques. SMG thin films are achieved via refinement of PVD power, pressure, and substrate temperatures. The SMG thin films display improved thermal and kinetic properties differentiating them from similar tradition bulk quenched or vapour deposited alloys. Other material properties are also enhanced or modified. (author)
