AbstractAbstract
[en] In this study were developed nickel alloy sintered using Cr, Al, Si, P, W, C and Fe as alloying elements, in order to obtain an alloy for application as matrix composite self-lubricating resistant to wear. Were evaluated the microstructure, hardness and mechanical properties. Powders of materials containing alloy elements as alloy carriers were mixed with nickel powder and processed by powder metallurgy. The samples were compacted by uniaxial double action pressing (pressure 600MPa) and sintered at 1150 deg C in laboratory furnace using argon as sintering atmosphere. The best results were obtained when elements in the form of alloy carriers (iron alloys) FeCr and FeP were used, reached up to 400 HV hardness and microstructure with high relative density (94%) for an alloy composition of Fe-Ni-Cr-P. The alloy composition of Fe-Ni-Cr-Si has presented hardness of about 450 HV, high relative density, but without total dissolution of the carrier Fe-Si these processing conditions. (author)
