AbstractAbstract
[en] Full text: The bonding phase, hydration of Portland cement, forms hydrated calcium silicate (C-S-H), this reaction can influence the physical and mechanical properties of cementitious materials if there is no interaction between the aggregates and the binders [1]. This work samples of concrete with 50% and 100% of recycled concrete and vinasse were fabricated to study the influence of cement hydration with vinasse on the mechanical properties of cured concrete. After 12 months of cure, the samples were fractured and examined in triplicates by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray dispersive energy spectroscopy (EDX) and Infrared with Fourier Transform (FTIR), ATR mode. The results show that the concrete sample with 50% of recycled concrete presented the development of type of hydrating CS- H, fibrils and crystals. It has also been observed that fracture surfaces are increasingly dominated by calcium hydroxide crystals. For the concrete sample with 100% recycled concrete was not been observed the formation of late ettringite even after one year of cure, this may be related to the presence of the sucrose present in the vinasse confirmed in the ATR analysis of the FT-IR.
