AbstractAbstract
[en] Nowadays the recovery rate of resources for in-situ leaching uranium mines are relatively low in China. one of the reasons is that a slight lower leaching rate of mining block is designed. For the sake of enabling designed leaching rate to integrate commercial production practice and uplift the recovery rate of resources for in-situ leaching mine, the calculation way of designed recovery rate of resources popularly used in China and the determination of resources utilization ratio for different kind of resources are discussed. Approved by practice, compared with conventional mining the in-situ leach uranium mining has uncomparable advantages on enhancing leaching rate of mining block. such as the real leaching area is greater than the geometry area for whether plan view or cross-section view, the mineralized resources outside of mining block are recovered; the wells close step by step during decommission that further increases leaching rate of mining block; the groundwater restoration procedure has the leaching rate of mining block increased 10% or above. The practical status from quite amount of decommissioned and operated mining blocks show that uplift the design leaching rate of mining block for in-situ leaching mines is reasonable in China.
