AbstractAbstract
[en] This news is based on the following article: Simko M., Mattson M.O.. 5G wireless communication and health effects - a pragmatic review based on available studies regarding 6 to 100 GHz. Int. J. Environ. Res. Publ. Health 2019; 16(18): 3406. Doi: 10.3390/ijerph16183406. This review analyzed the results of in vivo and in vitro experiments from 94 scientific publications investigating exposure to the radio frequencies used for 5G. Each study was characterized by type, biological material, outcome criteria, the configurations/magnitude of exposure, and quality criteria. Relations between exposure and biological responses were observed in 80% of the in vivo and 58% of the in vitro studies. (author)
