[en] This comprehensive document issued by the Swiss Nuclear Safety Inspectorate ENSI defines requirements placed on the final decommissioning of the Muehleberg nuclear power station in Switzerland. The background factors concerning the decommissioning of this nuclear power plant are discussed, as are the legal stipulations involved. These cover basic decisions concerning long-term operation and the commercial shut-down of the station. Preparations for the technical decommissioning of the plant are looked at.
