[en] After an introduction which comments and discusses the emergence and developments of new trends in medicine which can be related to medical imagery (developments of artificial intelligence, use of connected objects, evolution of medical practices, patient as an informed consumer, evolution of the industrial offer in front of an evolving radiology technical platform, new regulations in radio-physics and in radiation protection), the articles of this issue address developments in the following fields of medical imaging: NMR (evolution of the industrial offer), mammography (the patient comfort at the heart of concerns), scanner, molecular imaging (development of doping with silicon), digital radiology (a new generation of sensors), information technology (development of a networked medicine), and echography (back to interventional).
