[en] Held before the Paris COP21, this conference-debate organised by a professional body gathering companies of the electrical and climatic engineering was the opportunity to address the various associated challenges and stakes for this sector. A synthesis of interventions is proposed. They notably address the role of electric power as a lever for development, the role of the power sector in relationship with the stakes of the COP21 (at the world level, at the European level, and at the French level), the content of the 'Agenda of Solutions' which concerns the sector (air conditioning, energy storage, use of biomass to replace coal in a power plant), the issue of energy transition funding (high levels of investments are required while knowing that doing nothing would be more expensive, elaboration of new funding tools). A synthesis is proposed as a conclusion which addresses theses issues through the lens of tomorrow's city.
