AbstractAbstract
[en] After having briefly outlined the way the IRSN considers the management of very low level radioactive wastes, the author more precisely discusses some aspects of this issue: three quarters of them are stored in a single storage centre which however will not be able to face the foreseen volumes; these wastes cannot be a matter of trade; choices might face a political risk. The author proposes an overview of strategies and practices adopted by different countries, notably in terms of governance and of decision process. The second part discusses the choice of storage type (revalorization, surface storage, warehousing, incineration, fusion) and of storage site, and more particularly from an economic point of view.
