AbstractAbstract
[en] After some general observations regarding the assessment or approximation of the nuclear capacities of a country, the authors proposes several briefly commented tables which illustrate and compare the capacities of nuclear States. He first distinguishes nuclear States belonging to the NPT (USA, Russia, UK, France, China) and indicates the number of performed tests, the capacity at the end of 2015, the number of nuclear weapons, and the existence of modernisation programs. He provides the same data for 'de facto' nuclear powers (Israel, India and Pakistan), for States to which access to nuclear weapons has been denied (North Korea). Article published in 'Paix et Securite Europeenne et Internationale' - PSEI, no. 4. Full text available online at: http://revel.unice.fr/psei/index.html?id=1139
