AbstractAbstract
[en] The author reports an academic study of the technical, economic and societal feasibility of a large scale development of the electric vehicle while coupling this development with that of renewable energies in the South region of France. The objectives were to assess the relevance of such a coupling, its technical feasibility and its and economic viability, the energy and power demand for the deployment of the electric vehicle in this region, the importance of location, and to determine what the business model could be. For this purpose, analogue European projects have been examined and a benchmarking of these projects has been performed. An online survey has been performed and data produced by other national and regional surveys on mobility and energy have been used. Interviews of users, of regional actors and of project holders have also been performed.

La mission qui m'a ete confiee durant ce stage consistait a etudier la faisabilite technique, economique et societale d'un developpement a grande echelle du vehicule electrique dans une demarche de couplage a des energies renouvelables en region SUD. Le but final etant de rendre un rapport a la region qui permettrait de faciliter les prises de decisions faisant suite a la loi NOTRe et a la loi d'Orientation des Mobilites (LOM) et qui sera inclut dans le Schema Regional d'Amenagement, de Developpement Durable et d'Egalite des Territoires. Quel est la pertinence d'un couplage energies renouvelables et mobilite electrique? Est-ce realisable? Est-ce viable economiquement? Quelle serait la demande d'apport en energie du deploiement du vehicule electrique en region Sud? en puissance? La localite est-elle un facteur important? Quel est le modele economique? Pour mener a bien cette mission et repondre a ces questions, une etude des projets europeens portant sur le sujet fut realisees aboutissant a un benchmarking. Ensuite, une enquete numerique a ete lancee en parallele des recherches d'autres enquetes nationales et regionales sur la mobilite et l'energie. Dans le meme temps, nous avons mis en place des interviews d'usagers de vehicules electriques. Enfin, nous avons interroges des acteurs de la region ainsi que des porteurs de projets.
