[en] Medical exposure to ionizing radiation is the greatest contributor to ionizing exposure from artificial ionizing sources. Radiation protection plays crucial role in the working process with ionising exposure sources and in employees and patients health protection. In 2018 several important legislation changes have been approved in Slovakia regarding medical exposure to ionizing radiation and safety requirements for employees and citizens health protection. The aim of this article is to review this new legislation in Slovakia. (author)
