AbstractAbstract
[en] Many diseases in childhood are manifested by seizures that can be confused with epileptic seizures. The cause of convulsions may be: 1. epilepsy, which may be idiopathic or secondary; or 2. other diseases with brain involvement, including febrile convulsions; metabolic disorders (hypoglycaemia, hypocalcaemia, hyponatraemia, etc.), head trauma and inflammatory brain diseases (meningoencephalitis).
