AbstractAbstract
[en] This set of documents builds up a contribution of a research in social and human sciences to Flexgrid projects (Flexgrid is a programme of deployment of optimised energy systems which has been selected after a call for projects). The objective of these study was notably to identify and understand the characteristics of the different user groups. After a general presentation of the performed studies and of their objectives, a first report proposes a synthesis of a study which addressed the benefit of socioeconomic approached to Smart Grids. It comprises a comparative analysis of 10 projects with respect to 6 thematics (project design and characteristics of targeted populations, social and community approaches, communication strategy, co-construction processes, device automation design, and adoption processes), and an analysis of a bibliography of scientific works on the socioeconomic stakes of the deployment of Smart Grids in order to provide the different experimentation projects with a theoretical and conceptual framework. The second document proposes a synthesis of the selection of European Smart Grids projects, a synthesis of the examination of these projects, and a synthesis of a comparative study among these projects. The next document reports the literature analysis according to 9 different themes (selection bias, acceptability, network effects, community aspect, monetary and non monetary incentives, population characterisation, participation and co-construction processes, automation and learning processes, culture of energy). An appendix then contains presentation of European Smart Grids projects: UPGRID, CIVIS, several projects in the Amsterdam region (City-Zen, ME2, Parent, SEEV4-City), GRID4EU and NICEGRID, CITY-OPT and ECOGRID.
