AbstractAbstract
[en] An uranium mine is not conducive to the bioleaching because of low pyrite content in ore. In order to improve the possibility for biological leaching, it is required to add a kind of pyrite to the mine for bacteria utilizing. An acidophilic leaching bacteria named B3mYPlQ-C which was gathered from an uranium mine is used to carry out a shake flask test on three different origin pyrite to select the appropriate pyrite for the test in this paper. The test results show that the acidophilic leaching bacteria named B3mYPlQ-C has different utilization efficiency on these three different origin pyrite. The pyrite from a Jiangxi copper mine has the highest utilization efficiency. The controlled trials test also proved that the fluoric contained uranium ore may affect the activity of microorganism strains, as the result, it will also reduce the microorganism's ability to utilize pyrite.
