[en] Scenario construction methodologies in safety assessment on geological repository of high-level radiowaste were summarized. The commonly-used systematic procedure was described, which includes identification, screening and analysis on feature, event, and process influencing long-term safety of repository, formation and screening of scenarios. Factor analysis tools both influence diagram and interactive matrix were introduced, with scenario formation methods of the bottom-up and the top-down method techniques. Scenarios developed in safety assessment of some repositories were collated. Status and development on scenario construction were reviewed. (authors)
