AbstractAbstract
[en] We have carried out measurements of superconducting critical current density Jc of the ferromagnetic-superconductor UGe2 near the superconducting transition temperature Tsc. In order to reduce Joule heating during the measurement, we have fabricated low-resistivity contacts for the current leads with the net resistance of 100 μΩ. At pressure, p = 1.25 GPa, Jc was measured down to T/Tsc = 0.85 (Tsc = 0.545 K). Jc increases with decreasing temperature, resulting in 6.0 × 104 A/m2 at T/Tsc = 0.85. Temperature dependence of Jc can be compared with that proposed for the ordinary type II superconductor in the mixed state. (author)
