AbstractAbstract
[en] This work reports a new approach to reduce the L10 ordering transition temperature in FePt. Terneary element Cu is alloyed with Fe and Pt in multilayer stack. Detailed study of evolution structural and magnetic properties as a function of isochronal annealing is done using XRD and MOKE (Magneto Optic Kerr Effect) measurements. The results are compared with that of FePtCu alloy film with same atomic weight percent of Cu. The comparison is done in the context of L10 transformation kinetics and magnetic properties by using and it is found that in multilayer transformation kinetics is faster along with better magnetic properties in context of device application.
