AbstractAbstract
[en] The magnetization reversal process in elliptical and rectangular CoFe (permandur) nanostructures were compared using micromagnetic simulations. In both the nanomagnets the reversal depends on the direction of magnetization. Single domain states were observed in 10 nm to 60 nm thick elliptical and rectangular nanomagnets when the magnetization reversal is along the major or long axis. Multidomain states were observed when the reversal is along the minor or short axis. (author)
