AbstractAbstract
[en] Pure and Lithium doped ZnO (LZO) nanocrystalline thin films were grown by radio frequency magnetron sputtering using targets fabricated from LiCl and ZnO powders manually. XRD pattern shows that the films possess crystalline 97 nature and are highly oriented along c-axis. SEM micrographs confirm their nanocrystalline nature. X-ray photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) studies confirmed presence of Li in the ZnO thin film. UV/Vis spectra showed that ZnO thin films had high transmission over visible region and its band gap was found to increase with lithium doping. Photoluminescence spectra confirm the formation of additional defects due to Lithium doping in ZnO thin films. (author)
