AbstractAbstract
[en] A superconductor possesses the unlimited supply of the electron in well-defined fashion. The coupling of electron spin with electrical polarization provides the promising results for the application in next generation memory elements and various micro-electronics. These devices precisely control the logic charge carriers with ultra-fast speed and a nano seconds response time. The superconducting YBCO target was synthesized by convention solid state reaction route and same target is used to synthesize the superconducting thin film. We have fabricated a PbZrxTi1-xO3/ YBa2Cu3O7-δ/LAO hetrostuctures using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique for ultrafast spintronic devices. The X-Ray Diffraction patterns of the hetrostructure showed preferential growth of YBCO/PZT on LAO substrate. The surface topography of individual layers of PZT and YBCO were investigated by atomic force microscopy and it was found homogeneous surface with surface roughness in the range of 1-3 nm. The superconducting phase transition of the virgin YBCO thin films was observed at 88K. We will discuss the capping of polar phase on superconducting surface of tunneling phenomena. (author)
