[en] This publication describes a good application and use of photovoltaic solar energy for the sprinkling of vegetable cultivations in Mali. The process (flow rate, water saving), areas, equipment are briefly indicated. A specific case is described in its both version, 2008 and 2020, i.e. with the use of an electric power produced by a thermal plant, and then with the use of photovoltaic solar electric power and some evolution for other equipment (tank and pump). Data are indicated regarding energy production and consumption, and the assessment of CO₂ emissions. An appendix contains characteristics of the thermal plant, an assessment of solar energy in Mali, and a brief indication of actions undertaken by the twinning committee
