[en] Causes of damage investigation - Technological factors: • stresses accrued during heat exchanging tubes expansion in steam generator pipe tube sheets at manufacturing; • incomplete release of welding stresses in weld joint during thermal treatment at manufacturing plant. - Operational factors: • pressure impact at hydraulic tests from the secondary circuit side; • temperature loads at heating up and cooling down stages; • presence of slam deposits (corrosion products released from internal surface of equipment and pipelines of the secondary circuit made of perlite steels) in radius blend area; • presence in slam deposits of copper containing compounds that later transformed to copper single crystals and acted as corrosion process accelerators
