Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) is a condition defined by the self-diagnosed attribution of nonspecific symptoms to exposure to anthropogenic electromagnetic fields (EMF). This article is a critical review of the literature, which has proposed various explanatory hypotheses about the origins of these symptoms
