AbstractAbstract
[en] Orano transforms nuclear materials so that they can be used to support the development of society, first and foremost in the field of energy. The group offers products and services with high added value throughout the entire nuclear fuel cycle, from raw materials to waste treatment. This safety report was established in accordance with articles L. 125-15 of the French environmental code. It presents, first, the Orano Malvesi facility, including the Ecrin facility, and the actions for the prevention and limitation of risks: nuclear safety, risk prevention and control, emergencies management, personnel health and safety protection, inspections, risk abatement and prevention measures, radiation protection. Then, it presents the declared nuclear events of the past year, the management of the facility effluents and the monitoring of the environment: environmental policy, monitoring of the Malvesi facility effluents, environment monitoring of the Ecrin facility surroundings, consumptions abatement. Next, it treats of the management of radioactive and conventional industrial wastes produced by the facilities (including legacy wastes), and of the control of other impacts. Finally, the actions of communication and public information made by the direction of the facility are summarized. A recall of the 2017-2020 safety-environment policy, a glossary, and the recommendations from the Committees for health, safety and working conditions are given in appendix
