AbstractAbstract
[en] In this set of three publications, the first one outlines the interests and benefits of the use of thermal solar energy in collective buildings, its high energy performance (very high efficiency, very important savings in comparison with gas for hot water production and heating, and also with other renewable energies), its high economic performance (one of the most profitable energies with respect to non renewable energies and also other renewable energies, in terms of purchase cost and of funding). A second publication outlines the economic interest of the use of thermal solar energy in renovation operations (a competitive installation cost, possibility of subsidies, a well managed and affordable maintenance and exploitation cost, no carbon tax), and briefly presents four key steps for a successful project of renovation with thermal solar installation (launching the project, selection of teams and partners, implementation of the installation follow-up, necessity of a dynamic operation). The third publication is a technical guide which explains the operation of thermal solar installations in the case of a condominium in order to know and control actual performance of the installation, and, if necessary, to initiate efficient corrective actions. Thus, it presents basic principles of a collective thermal solar installation (operation, typical configurations), indicates documents to be gathered, outlines the importance of maintenance and operation follow-up (stakes, structure of a maintenance contract, recommendations), defines the different types of control (simplified or detailed) and indicates required equipment, and evokes how to communicate within the condominium
