[en] Automatic translation: Measurement method: As part of the AVR follow-up examinations, the burn-off can be determined. The burn-up determination is based on the quantitative analysis of the Cs-137 using gamma spectrometry. From the measured activity one can get the number of calculated Cs-137 atoms formed in the fuel elements. As the amount of U-235 originally used is known, the burn-up can be calculated taking into account the gap yield.

Meßmethode: Im Rahmen der AVR-Nachuntersuchungen muß an Brennelementen der Abbrand bestimmt werden. Die Abbrandbes timmung beruht auf der quantitativen Analyse des Cs-137 mit Hilfe der Gamma-Spektrometrie. Aus der gemessenen Aktivität kann man die Anzahl der in dem Brennelementen entstandenen Cs-137 Atome berechnen. Da die Menge des ursprünglich eingesetzten U-235 bekannt ist, kann unter Berücksichtigung der Spaltausbeute der Abbrand berechnet werden.Original Title
