AbstractAbstract
[en] The CERN LHC is a great tool for testing the symmetries of the standard model (SM) of particle physics. This report (for accreditation to supervise research) describes the work the author has done by studying photons, Higgs bosons and top quarks production processes. The first two chapters address the discovery of the Higgs boson and the measurement of its top quark coupling, and are illustrations of tests of the electroweak symmetry. Several SM (Standard Model) processing measures are also presented that constitute tests of quantum chromodynamics. Chapter three describes contributions to the improvement of the future 'trajectograph' for the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC, which will start in 2027). The last chapter conducts phenomenological studies for new breaking possibilities for SM global symmetries (Lorentz, CPT and CP symmetries)

Le LHC (CERN) constitue un formidable outil pour tester les symetries du Modele Standard (SM) de la physique des particules. Ce document de HDR decrit les travaux que j'ai effectues en etudiant des processus de production de photons, bosons de Higgs et quarks top. Les deux premiers chapitres abordent la decouverte du boson de Higgs et la mesure de son couplage au quark top, et sont des illustrations de tests de la symetrie electrofaible. Plusieurs mesures de processus du SM sont aussi presentees qui constituent des tests de la chromodynamique quantique. Le chapitre trois decrit mes contributions a l'amelioration du futur trajectographe de CMS pour le LHC Haute Luminosite (HL-LHC, demarrage prevu en 2027). Le dernier chapitre effectue des etudes phenomenologiques pour de nouvelles idees de recherches de brisure des symetries globales du SM: symetrie de Lorentz, CPT et CP. (auteur)Original Title
