AbstractAbstract
[en] This magazine proposes sets of articles which discusses the pillar role of nuclear energy for the French low-carbon future (issue of construction new reactors, the soon coming closure of four reactors, scenarios for electric power, taxing evolutions of the support to energy transition, the atom future in France, the very uncertain bet on a mix with a high proportion of wind and solar energy), nuclear as a decarbonized energy which divides Europe (European countries defending the role of nuclear, discussion of the EU intervention, the French request to Europe to acknowledge the contribution of nuclear), and the issue of tomorrow's nuclear (new solutions to reduce the carbon print, organisation of skill improvement, the need of a research strategy for an advanced nuclear, the possibilities of nuclear fusion, the world strongest magnet in the ITER reactor, an experimental fusion reactor activated in China)
