AbstractAbstract
[en] This thesis is dedicated to the study of Very High Energy gamma-ray sources discovered thanks to the H.E.S.S. telescopes. The H.E.S.S. observatory has indeed revealed, through a systematic survey of the galactic plane since 6 years, a very rich gamma-ray sky. First, we verified that the evolution of the telescope performance since the start of operations was well understood. The study of TeV characteristics, but also at other wavelengths, including X-rays, of pulsar wind nebulae is the central part of the work presented here. For sources whose nature remained unknown or subject to question, we searched for counterparts among the known pulsars, or made a spectral and morphological analysis, which helped to identify many as nebulae, except one for which we have shown that this scenario is rather uncomfortable through profound observations in X-rays. This source could thus constitute a new class of gamma-ray sources. Pulsar wind nebulae, are nevertheless, and this work will have contributed to this, by far the majority of the TeV sources in the Galaxy. We study them as such, by forming a catalogue, and then show that the sensitivity limitation of the TeV horizon forbids to consider it as complete. Finally, the search for relationships between the various observables at TeV gamma-rays and X-rays of the nebulae, and parameters of the pulsar, while providing a predictive tool, confirms the relic nature of many sources because of non-dependence of the gamma-ray luminosity on age or on the pulsar power. Cette these est dediee a l'etude des sources gamma de tres haute energie decouvertes grace aux telescopes H.E.S.S. dans le domaine du TeV. L'observatoire H.E.S.S. a en effet revele, suite a un releve du plan de la Galaxie depuis 6 ans, un ciel gamma tres riche. D'abord, nous avons verifie que l'evolution des performances des telescopes depuis sa mise en exploitation etait bien comprise et maitrisee. L'etude des caracteristiques au TeV, mais aussi a d'autres longueurs d'onde, notamment en rayons X, des sources de type nebuleuse de pulsar constitue la partie centrale des travaux presentes ici. Pour les sources dont la nature restait encore inconnue ou sujette a questions, nous avons cherche des contreparties parmi les pulsars connus, ou alors mene une analyse spectrale et morphologique, ce qui a permis d'en identifier bon nombre en tant que nebuleuses, sauf une, pour laquelle ce scenario est mis en difficulte grace aux observations profondes en X; elle pourrait ainsi constituer une nouvelle classe de sources gamma. Les nebuleuses de pulsar, constituent neanmoins, et ces travaux y auront contribue, de loin la population majoritaire des sources au TeV dans la Galaxie. Nous les examinons en tant que telle, en formant un catalogue, et montrons que la limitation par la sensibilite de l'horizon des observations au TeV interdit de considerer celui-ci comme complet. Enfin, la recherche de relations entre les divers observables au TeV, et en X, des nebuleuses et les parametres du pulsar, tout en procurant d'un outil de prediction, confirme l'aspect relique d'une bonne partie des sources du fait de la non-dependance de la luminosite gamma a l'age ou a la puissance du pulsar.
