AbstractAbstract
[en] The objective of this report made by a multidisciplinary group of representatives of different social and human sciences and of experts in energy issues, was to propose an overview of the present situation, and to propose avenues for the research on energy in social and human sciences. After a discussion of the relationship between social sciences and energy, and of the possible contribution of social sciences in energy issues, the report presents different identified research topics: visions of the future and scenarios (development of models, practices of scenario-making, representations and values in scenarios, social tests of models, the history of the future), public policies and governance (global stakes, to question energy transition in the French way), market, regulations and consumption modes (the search for a coordination of actors in a liberal system, the issue of energy diversification and security under climatic constraint, consumption modes, access to energy and energy poverty), and territories and social reconfigurations (problem pitfalls and milestones, questions and stakes, avenues for research). Propositions are then formulated for the development of the SHS research potential, for the CNRS, and regarding themes, tools and resources
