[en] Thirty-four casts of alloy DIN 2.4663 that have been supplied to HTMP from 1975 to mid 1984 have been examined and their metallurgical characteristics have been catalogued and compared; the information on each cast being presented in a series of material data sheets and also discussed. Some significant variations have been found in the grain size and structure, the extent of carbide precipitation and the presence of microsegregated stringers of primary carbides. Some correlation has also been found between hardness, grain size and annealing temperature. (author)
