AbstractAbstract
[en] This is the first in a series of Quarterly Progress reports summarising the work of HTMP. The report is longer than would normally be the case since work from April 1976 when HTMP started is reviewed. The programme is being conducted on behalf of the sponsoring organisations at CIIR Oslo. During the period there has been increasing emphasis on testing materials for potential NPH applications in the temperature range 800 to 1000°C. Experimental conditions are summarised in Table 1 of the report and an outline of the current test programme is given in Tables 2 and 3. A new programme in collaboration with IRW/PNP will specifically develop 10,000 hours creep-rupture data (Table 4).
