[en] The Irradiation Programme planned for the Dragon Reactor includes Reactor establishments in Continental Europe who have, or will be constructing hot cell facilities. Dragon fuel samples will be examined at these establishments. This meeting was arranged to share with representatives from the four Dragon contractors concerned experience gained at Harwell during the initial experiments of the programme. The opportunity was taken to discuss Design principles of irradiation experiments particularly from the point of view of post irradiation examination. The co-operation of the Director of Harwell for permitting members of the Chemistry Division and the High Activity Handling Building to participate in the meeting and to demonstrate their work was particularly appreciated.
