AbstractAbstract
[en] The facts set out above suggest that in theory, at 350°C a palladium or palladium alloy diffusion membrane of sensible dimensions (thickness 2-10 mil, area 1000 cm2) sited either in the reactor or in the coolant clean-up circuit should permit the extraction of hydrogen from the Dragon coolant at a reasonable rate. However the practical aspects of incorporating it will, need considerable study before any decision on be made to include this method of purification in the coolant clean-up system.
